A user account will be required to work with the app. This will start the login or log you out of the current work in the app.
By default, the app connects to the Amagno Business Cloud in Germany. If you wish to connect to another server, read the section Configuring the connection.
Configure connection
The app makes it possible to connect to an Amagno server if it is accessible from the Internet.
To connect to another Amagno server, you need the URL that can be reached from the Internet. Please contact your administrator. You can find further important information the FAQ page for the Amagno server.
The connections are managed per device. It is therefore necessary to re-enter a connection when using multiple devices.
Edit connections
At the bottom of the login dialog you will see a tab with the name of the current connection.

Select the tab at the bottom of the login dialog.

The Connections dialog appears.
Add new connection

Enter the desired URL in the input field under Add connection.

Confirm this with the enter key or the plus icon.
3.
The URL is checked and then appears in the Select area.
If a connection is no longer relevant or defective, you can delete this connection from the selection.

Select the desired connection in the Select area.

Confirm the deletion of the connection from the list with the trash can icon at the bottom of the dialog.
Log in
You need a valid user account (e-mail address) and your password. Proceed as follows on the start screen of the app:

Enter the e-mail address as the user account in the E-mail address input field.
2.
Enter the password in the input field. You can use the symbol on the right-hand side of the input field to display the password clearly when entering it.
3.
Click on the Register button.

Log out
When you are logged in, you work in a so-called session in the app. If you are not active for a certain period of time, you will be automatically logged out and you will receive the login dialog again.
If you no longer work with the app, you reduce security risks when you log out. If you use a concurrent license for your user account (concurrent user), you release the license for another colleague.

Select Me in the theme menu.

Select the red action button (the left-hand button for multi-column display).
3.
Click on the symbol for logging out in the quick actions.
Forgotten password
Do you have a user account but have forgotten your password? You can then have a new start password sent to you.
If you use a login via Azure AD/Entra ID, please contact your administrator.
1.
Start Amagno in the login screen.
2.
Enter the e-mail address you usually use to register in the e-mail address field.
3.
Select the entry Forgot password and follow the dialogs.
4.
After a short time, a new start password will be sent to you by e-mail.
5.
Check your SPAM folder in your mail application if the e-mail does not arrive.
To set an individual password, this is possible via the Amagno Client for Windows.
Disconnection
If the app detects that a connection to a server has been interrupted, a corresponding message appears. A connection failure can have various technical causes.
1.
Confirm the dialog with Reconnect to check whether the connection is available again.
2.
Confirm the dialog with Cancel to exit the application.
