System requirements

The app runs on current versions of Android, iOS, iPadOS, macOS, Windows and modern browsers.

Even with automation, quality assurance can’t test every operating system and device type with every feature. As operating system providers can make changes quickly, our apps can be affected. That’s why we can’t guarantee that the app will always work smoothly on every device and operating system. In any case, quality assurance tests the app on the operating systems in their delivery state. This means that individual settings or side effects with other apps may affect the app functionality.

The following platforms are supported by Amagno.App as native installation:

  • Windows 10 and newer
  • iOS 6 and newer on iOS and iPadOS
  • Android xx and newer
  • MacOS xx and newer

For other platforms and operating systems, the app can be used with modern browsers.

The following browsers support the Amagno.App as an application in the browser:

  • Edge xx and more current
  • Chrome xx and more current
  • Safari xx and more current

Despite the same name and manufacturer of a browser, they are not identical on all operating systems, but are developed individually. Therefore, deviations in behavior may also occur here.

Installing the app

Dialogue and help languages

The app is available in German and English. This help section is also available in both languages. The app allows you to store and search for all Unicode-supported languages via Unicode.

Amagno automatically selects an appropriate dialog language when the app is launched, based on the platform on which the app is running:

The app checks if the browser is in German. If this is not the case, English is selected. Changing the dialog language is not yet integrated in the app.

If you use Amagno Client for Windows, you can change the dialog language there. This will be taken into account after the successful login to the app.

Updating process

The app generally updates itself. Here you find specific information about updates for the respective platforms:

The app updates automatically in the browser.

Since the app stores certain files locally in the browser, this can lead to unexpected behavior. Therefore, we recommend clearing your browser cache when installing a new version. Instructions for the clearing process can be found in the help section of your browser.

Connecting the app requires a compatible version of the Amagno server. Therefore, it is necessary to keep the Amagno server and the app up to date. Otherwise the app may not function properly.
