Documents can be deleted, destroyed or restored in a recycle bin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The app has a multi-level and rights-protected security system to protect documents from unplanned deletion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A document<\/a> is first deleted and can then be found in the recycle bin of the vault. Here, users can decide to restore the document<\/a> or delete it permanently. For increased security in the company, separate responsibilities for deletion and destruction can be created via rights and user groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, documents can only be deleted individually in the app.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Documents that are in a retention period <\/strong>cannot be deleted or destroyed, regardless of any rights.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Delete document<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For this function you need the rights Documents – Read<\/strong> and Documents – Delete<\/strong>. You currently configure this in the Amagno Client for Windows.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Select a document<\/a> <\/strong>in a file list, e.g. in the Documents area of a vault or in search results, by simply clicking or tapping on it.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    Refresh <\/strong>the file list. The document<\/a> will be marked as deleted in red in the lists until then.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<\/li>\n\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The document<\/a> can now be permanently deleted or restored in the recycle bin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If the deletion of a file is not available in the menu, it is e.g. in a current retention period or is currently being processed or edited by the app or the user.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Using the recycle bin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The recycle bin shows the contents that are available for destruction or recovery in a tray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      For this function you need the rights Documents – Read<\/strong> and Documents – Destroy<\/strong>. You currently configure this in the Amagno Client for Windows.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

      For legal reasons, the document<\/a> to be destroyed will be irrevocably deleted<\/strong>. This decision cannot be reversed after execution. The manufacturer of the app offers authorized persons the option of providing information about the date, time and author of the destruction. Files can be exported from the app or via API in order to have a backup for this double-secured process.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

        If a document<\/a> is in the recycle bin, no document<\/a> with the same name can be imported. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
